Admin Stuff

Administrative tasks were a large part of jobs I've held in the past. As good as I am at doing it, I'd rather be doing something else honestly. But a one-man-band business requires me to wear all sorts of hats and administrative assistant is just one of those. 

This morning I'm also a pest eradicator. We have a robin trying to build her nest up in the rafters of the studio porch. I take away her long grasses (which she's getting from our compost bin because I just put them there last night) and a half hour later there's just as many up there. Live in the country. Hate nature. 

I finally finished Evelyn's T-Shirt quilt late yesterday afternoon. Customers stayed much longer than I anticipated as well as a call from Germany with a nickel tour of the kids' new home. What a great place they have to live in for the next three years!

I say 'kind of' because I have two sets of people coming right after I get home from the nail appointment this morning. And, we have thunderstorms in the area all day, which means the machines are unplugged during such events.
