I'm Back!

Wow, did we ever have a marvelous experience up in Alaska. What a spectacular place to visit and the vastness is indescribable. Would definitely recommend getting there if you can.

Did some quilt store shopping in Sitka, Juneau, and Ketchikan. Here's the haul I brought home from two very lovely shops, and one shop that was not so great, but bought something nonetheless.

My Alaskan Haul
I have so many more pictures to share, but this is about quilting and this is where all of that ends. Notice the sheet in the background. I had to cover all the quilt tops on the long arms while we were away to keep dust off them.

I'll have DW running today on Linda's quilt and while he's stitching out, I'll be right next to him working on Ginny's quilt on Bernie. I only received one text message the whole time I was gone so I need to deal with that first before firing up the machines.

I did bring one other thing home with me. A summer cold. I started not feeling well on the last day of the cruise, and the next day when we flew out of Seattle I was just feeling awful. And of course, SeaTac airport is very inhospitable so it's probably a good thing I was pretty out of it.

Things are back to nearly normal now although the cold is still lingering I feel well enough to work and get back on track.
