Weather Changes Everything
Well, once again, it's a good thing goals are written in sand and not stone because I certainly missed my goal for yesterday. Right at lunch our thunderstorms started and there wasn't any sign of them letting up anytime soon.
We went to Midland to get groceries and mail a package to Germany instead of long arming. When we finally got back home around 4:30 it was still raining pretty good and then around 5:00 it started letting up.
My long arming mojo had disappeared. No storms expected today so the Farm Girl Vintage II should be completed by days end.
Here's one piece of the Farm Girl I particularly like...
It doesn't look like this one would be that difficult to blanket stitch but on those curves and points it's basically one to two stitches at a time as well as all the turning.

Simply Marvelous
We had a beautiful drive over to Elm Creek and struck gold in the baby quilt department. I'll be making this pattern...

Blogger is Being Difficult Lately
It's having trouble importing my pics, it wants me to follow other blogs (like I have time to read any more than my own), or it wants me to change my profile information. WTH?
Checking on other blog platforms has been done in the past and finding nothing as easy to use as Blogger seems to be the result. But lately, with all the advances in AI and technology, they are becoming very code heavy and are harder to use. Which, to me, sounds counterintuitive.
Yesterday was like a regular work day but doing my own quilting rather than customer work. Do you ever wonder how I get the channeling around the piece work in the quilt?

I rummaged around to find the binding for this and it's not where I thought it was. Jim moved my queue totes to under DW (you can see them in the pic above), and he thinks he saw the binding in there. Or, I have fabric left over to make more if necessary. It may or may not get attached today.
I'm looking forward to snuggle Sunday with the girls and I have a scarf I've been working on (knit-wise) and hope to relax and work on that all afternoon.

On To Long Arm #3
Since I finished the sheep last night after closing time, I'll be today, and an unknown amount of subsequent days, I'll be working this quilt on DW...

I have a lot more marking to do this morning to get me started, but the quilt is basted in and the preliminary markings are in, as are the first couple of thread picks.
I have a customer coming to pick up today. I think. She said Thursday, and I don't know if she meant today Thursday or next Thursday, and I didn't question if it was this Thursday because I thought yesterday was Tuesday instead of Wednesday.
While I was working yesterday, Jim started on a holiday project we haven't tackled since we moved up here in '18...

I got the wings blanket stitched down on the dragonfly last night and have gotten all the black shapes cut out for those blocks that have them. I have to construct those and work on the non-black shapes still.
While I like Misty Fuse appliqué product for pliability, it's not the easiest to work with. I may just start spray basting things down or using a glue stick, because honestly, I have to clean my iron this morning (I wasn't paying attention) and I have plenty more shapes to make (salmon, parts of the loon, and parts of the orca) as well as others I can't remember right now.
