Applique Sunday

I started building my first Yoder Sister yesterday after picking out the next quilt to head onto Foster. This is sister number two...

Turning out well
This one went together easier than I thought she would. Which leads me to believe the other three should be about the same. I'll be working those throughout the week.

Joyces/Cindas quilt will be worked on today. They are coming tomorrow to watch me quilt it and so will only be able to get to about the last quadrant today so they actually have something to watch. I don't know if I'll set in all the borders before they get here. Something tells me I should because they take sooooo long. And I have all those tucks I'm going to be dealing with.

It was -3 degrees this morning when I [finally] woke up and the high today is supposed to be somewhere in the vicinity of 6 degrees. The river sure is making a lot of noise about it, but it's pretty cool when it "talks" down there.
