Family Takes Priority

The kids were here all weekend and we spent time with them after the initial digging was done on the addition. Playing games, catching up, going shopping and out to eat. Quality time. 

After they left I did manage to get a block done in the FGV2 top...

And I've cut and partially peiced the next one. 

I'll be finishing Cathy M's quilt today and starting Mickey's. I was hoping to get Cathy's done prior to the kids arriving on Thursday but that obviously didn't work out. 

And, we finally, Saturday night/Sunday morning, got some rain. A nice all day soaking rain that didn't make a bunch of puddles and that the plants/trees are able to get something from. Hurray!
